What is the 3 Step Rewind?
The 3 Step Rewind is a gentle and effective process to release unwanted negative or traumatic feelings attached to your pregnancy, birth or postnatal experience. It uses gentle Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques with deep relaxation to release the difficult feelings and anxiety attached to your experience, and help you heal. You are always fully in control and you do not need to talk about your experience if that in itself is painful.
How is it delivered?
The process takes place over 3 sessions and can be held in person or over Zoom in the comfort of your own home. The sessions are usually held weekly.
Session 1 (~90 minutes):
An invitation to tell your story (should you want to share it, this is completely optional) and understand how it is still affecting you today
Explore the changes you would like to experience if these difficult feelings were lifted. What difference could it make?
Practice relaxation. The relaxation will be recorded for you to listen to.
Session 2 (~ 60 minutes) – The Rewind Process:
A deep relaxation, to re-process the memory of your pregnancy/birth/postnatal experience, in a more neutral way, so the memory is no longer emotionally charged or triggering
Session 3 (~ 30 minutes):
Checking in to see what changes you have experienced and if any further support is needed
A relaxation focusing on building confidence and resilience so that you no longer feel like you are owned by what happened and are able to start moving forward
